When does this kw event start i don't even see the Rules posted or Registeration.....

Only a few select "large" centers had the opportunity to take part in this showcase.  I think it was limited to 10, so it might not happen in your area.

Its a month long promotion, if you go in you can get a free hour to play the game.  More like a long IGames "showcase", than a "Game Launch" which is usually just one day.

Like I said, it has been limited to 10 centers.  However that is not stopping other centers from having their own event that is not sponsored by igames.  I would call your local center and see if they have anything going.

The event started on March 29th and will run until April 29th. The centers that are running this event for Kane's Wrath are running this 1 month promotion so that any gamer in their area can stop by and play the game for one hour free. They will not charge you their normal LAN center rates if you play that game at their center.

Since you said that their are two centers in your area that are on the list of participating centers, I would call them to see if they are running anything extra (such as a lock-in or a mini competition). If you want to play other gamers online, the centers will have the capability to do this. If your looking for a tourney, ask those centers if they are running one or if they can get one going.

For the original C&C 3 we ran a Showcase with a Game Night included. It was very low key and winners received center "play" credit.

I think you may be referring to the Comcast sponsored Tournament that we ran. It had $2500 in prizes! Unfortunately for an expansion, we do not have a corporate sponsor expressing interest in a C&C3 tournament.

However, we are always working on getting more exciting large tourney's. Keep checking back - we should have a RTS tourney soon.

We've been more than happy to link up customers online via Gamespy, yesterday we had 3 customers who wanted to compete, and were able to match up online against people of  similar skill levels and play against them.

We had an event towards the beginning of the showcase where we had enough people playing that people in the center were competing against each other too.

While it would be difficult for your local center to put something together with prizes, it wouldn't be difficult for your local center to acocomodate you and some friends to link you guys up so you can play together, maybe there won't be $2500 in prizes, but the price is right!

 

 

 

well hopefully something comes up good ... more fun all lan centers through the u.s. play each other like last year.
