a couple of questions if i may.....

First off i have done some research and looking around....now in my area(10-20mile radius) there is only ONE GC and last time i was there it had JUST 360 and a few ps2 and was getting ps3's....now I have been lookin around and it seems like PC gameing is easyer to set up and seems like a better profit and everyone i talk to plays it alot more then counsles....sooo I am thinking of opening a GC but not sure if i should do counsels or PC or a lil of both....now what i see alot of(on here) is 10 or so PC's and 2 counsels....but i know in my area there is alot of multiplayer counsle gameing as well...and i realy wanta tap into BOTH markets....now me and my partner plan on upgradeing our igames info here PRETTY SOON....one of my questions is security.....i read a comment from someone about "running cables for the system to be behind the counter".....now i REALY liked this idea....it helps keep games from being stolen and people linking there controller to the wrong system...but i am realy curious as to where u buy "av/hd cables" that are that long....or am i looking at this all wrong?  Any tips or advice on this or other "possiable" problems people have had in this field would be greatly appreciated.....

oh yeah i am in sanford fl (32771)

Re: a couple of questions if i may.....

I'm sure somebody has a link for you on inexpensive cables of all sizes.  I have both PC and console.   My pc side is more popular and more profitable, but does require a little more set up on your part.  PC guests tend to come by more frequently and stay longer.  Pc at least for me took a little longer to catch on, so having the console side saved me in the first 6 months.  If possible I would recommend having at least 8 360's (don't worry too much about the others) and 20-30 pcs.

as far as the other consoles I have 4 ps3s and I get a fair crowd on them, but I really don't want any more.  MGS4 didn't do much for me, but Civ and Soul Cal4 worked out okay.  The Wiis are fun for parties and girlfriends that are waiting for their boyfriend that is playing WoW .

I do love it when the gamers make the transition from console to pc, but in between WoW and CS phases some gamers like to be able to jump to console.

Tiger Direct gives us deals, but there are cable only sites with just sick prices.

links on where to buy the cables and instructions on how to set up and install are in the private forums you will be able to view once you upgrade your membership.  As an FYI - few gaming centers are less than 20 PCs and 4 consoles anymore.

pictures of gaming center layouts can be see in the center gallery of any iGames center, graphic layouts and more pics and info on designing a center is again in the private forums area.

there is a forum thread in the private forums area that discusses flat fees or by the hour.
