Age does not matter, finances do.  So as long as those are good you are fine.

    Re: Does age matter

Age has little to do with maturity.  Experience is all relative.

Your age won't be an issue, how you run your business will.

As VSGC said, age does not mattet, what is important is that you have the enought money for start the business and for yourself.

I'm 25, one partner 23 and the other 26. Two years whit the store and growing at this moment.

    Re: Does age matter

I turned 29 this year..... for the 9th time.  I wish I had done it at 24, just took me that long to get my act together.  All the power to you if you have the finances to do it.  I used to work a full time and 1-2 part time jobs when I was in my twenties, and it was fine.  Now that I'm ummm, more mature, I do find some of the longer 14 hour days a bit tiring.

    Re: Does age matter

I'm the baby :).  I'm 22 now, was 19 when I got my store first opened. I get alot of "how old are you?" When people ask me who the owner is of my store. My store is family run, my parents came into this while having run and owned 11 H&R Block Franchises for 30 years, and I have been doing all their tech work since I was 12.  So they handle the finances, while I make the computers work. We should be opening another store by the end year.  Our current Setup is 51 stations all running Intel Core 2 Duo E6400, 2gig ddr2 800, Nvidia 8800 GTS 640mb.  I'm proud to be so young, comparatively speaking to most people, yet have one of the larger stores on Igames, with a payroll of 10 employees.  I can't imagine some of the hours these other owners claim to pull.
