    Halo 3 Game Night/Ladder

Welcome. I didn't see anything even acknowleging our ladder in the forums, so we shall discuss here.

Im very new to igames, and very glad i found it. Im gaming at bridgemonkey, under their gamertags, but if anyone would like to add me, to scrim my team in between game nights, my gamertag is Tags FTW BABY

All of the teams we played exhibited great sportsmanship, and we are enjoying our igames experience immensely.

Welcome and thank you for starting a new thread!

Gamers do not often use our forums, but it would be nice to see more gamers here.

Good luck with the rest of the season!

    Re: Halo 3 Game Night/Ladder

Also, im wanting to get the word out about the halo 3 ladder you've got going here, but just going around posting words isn't ever very effective. BUT

I go to a forum of about 50,000 ACTIVE halo 3 players,  and posting a GRAPHIC, with a link would be SOOO much more effective.

If you have a graphic for the halo 3 ladder, please give me a link, or post it here in the [img] tags.

Or, you know... I am VERY good with photoshop myself. I would love to make something, and you could have it to use to promote the ladder here and anywhere else as well.

Are there similar graphics for the battlefield ladder? You may have a link to it somewhere but i clicked around for about 20 minutes and didn't find anything. I think it would be cool if you had a place on the event that included those materials. Something that was easy to find and didn't require an hour of searching.

We always e-mail them to the participating centers.

It will come. We are just shuffling around some of the responsibilities between people so we have a delay on all of them this week.

    Re: Halo 3 Game Night/Ladder

Hey, me and my team are new to iGames and I have a few questions. Sadly, we just signed up for the ladder tonight, in week 4 of 5. We went 5-0 today, and we plan (as arrogant as this sounds) not to lose any more next week either. Say we do have a perfect record at the end of next week, is it at all possible for us to make it to the playoffs? We're willing to play the best teams in the brackets, if thats what it takes. The only thing that matters to us, is getting to those playoffs. So if someone could add me on XBL or AIM and chat, and tell me whats going on, whether or not we have a chance. I'd appreciate it greatly.

    Re: Halo 3 Game Night/Ladder

come play us and see how you stack up, were undefeated for three weeks running, and in first place.

we have played the 3rd place team twice and beat them, and as for CnC (2nd) we scrimmed them on XBL and destroyed them. We lost to CnC the first week, dropped two guys on out team, held that team for two weeks undefeated, then dropped one guy that wasn't performing well, and now we are stonger than ever

We tried to play CnC last night, asked for them infact, but they no showed for all night apparently.

I can pretty much guarantee you that if your team can beat us, consistently, then you should have no problem beating anyone. BTW, who were the 5 teams you beat? out of like 70 something teams, there are only about 15 that are decent, so 5-0 isn't really that impresive. CnC is 26-1 and in 2nd, and were 17-1 and in 1st, cuz we play harder teams.

Plus we went 6-0 last night, and played 3 teams in the top 20, and the higher ranked the team you beat the better, Record really has no bearing. it all about points.

We are always looking for scrims on the weeks current map. We take tuesdays off to relax after all the exitement on mondays. We'll scrim you any time really, as long as its not tuesday.

     Our gamertags are:

    Team Watch x Learn: (bridgemonkey)

    WxL Tags

    WxL Jay

    WxL Triggafuzz

    xECx Jigsaw

It is not likely that you will make playoffs when entering so late, however if you get enough wins against the right teams, you have a small chance of squeezing into 8th.

On another note, we'll be having a Special Event for the Halo 3 Game Night. It will be separate from the current 'Ladder' and will award $500 in prizes. More on that soon.

    Re: Halo 3 Game Night/Ladder

Wayne i have a problem with the bracket set-up

It says that if there are connection issues, the team with the most wins will advance. This is in no way fair. The season was based on ladder points, NOT wins. Why then, should wins decide a connection issue. With what you have just said, you have given any team that we face, with more wins than us, the opportunity to not even have to play us. They just have to say, "Oh no, we could not join... WE WIN!"

and if you say that the community is more honest than that, you will be badly mistaken. We had issues with the "honesty" of other teams MULTIPLE times this season. Please take this into consideration.
