Universe at War: Earth Assault™ is set in the near-future when multiple factions from across the galaxy have come to Earth to wage epic warfare. Deadly sci-fi weapons and alien powers allow players to destroy cities and other territory while fighting for Earth. The game also allows players to retrain and customize units in the midst of battle, modify their weapons and defenses in real-time, and even control the development of technology that will help them to victory. SEGA, publisher of Universe at War: Earth Assault, announced gaming competition, where casual gamers try to defeat a Petroglyph development team members and get prizes! Participants must be over 14 years old and residents of United States.

"Beginning on December 14th through the 16th, all LIVE gamers that register and play Universe at War: Earth Assault online will be eligible to win a wide range of prizes that will be given out on an hourly basis. Prize-winners will be chosen from gamers playing online when the hourly winner is selected. Players will also have the chance to play against the developers of Universe at War: Earth Assault on December 14th between the hours of 3pm to 7pm PST or 6pm to 10pm EST. Universe at War: Earth Assault will be the first 3rd-party title to support Games for Windows -LIVE platform inter-operable play between the PC and Xbox 360® versions of Universe at War.
