If you look at the rankings of their opponents, they have recently defeated Thundercats, NJSV and Westside Connection, all top 16 teams.  Skill should play a heavier factor than total wins, if they were no good at all, they would have lost those 3 matches and been knocked way down.

No i'm not from that center.  And sadly, no matter what system is devised (and plainly stated) to accommodate a ladder format, there will be always someone who feels ripped off, because they just "don't get it" in some way.  Really, looking at your record, you have a point, you should be ranked 50th at best, considering you guys lost to #36, #46, and #29...  too bad they can't hand out points... or take them away in this case.

Good luck     I'm done trying to help you understand that noob pwning is not going to get you into 1st place.  However, there is something to be said about getting an opportunity (even tho it might score you less points) to compete with the upper teams, i guess you should have beat AzN Sensation when you had the chance.  ::shrug::

Hehe.. it's funny how some people who don't have a grasp on a particular field (ie math) complain about something in that particular field (ie this ladder point system).

My theory is - If you are good, it will be proven in the playoffs.  Anyone can have a bad week which would adversely affect their points. 

All this system is trying to do is seperate teams by skill so the better teams play the better teams and the weaker teams play the weaker teams.  In the past it was no fun for a team to get blown out every week.  They ended up losing interest due to knowing they would get blown away.  Heck. On the flip side -  It was difficult for our team to get our players to show up even though we were doing the dominating.  We would compete in the playoffs 4v5 due to our guys losing interest because we were winning too easily.

I'd say this has been the best setup so far in the years we've participated in the playoffs.  At first I was not so sure about it and didn't really support it, but now I think this system is good.

And again.. who cares about the points -- prove your worth in the playoffs. (provided you compile enough points to make it)

Well the only reason we lost against those teams is because it was 3 out of 5 guys first time playing the fucking game you scrub....if you are on a team in top tier right now...vs us for your spot if not then STFU because your probally garbage anyway. And you still have said anything about if you win the top tier room you get more points then the second place room? how is this fair? and your saying 10-5 should be 50th but 8-10 should be 8th.....riiiiiiiighhhhhhhhhhhhttttttt

First off your an idiot, he isnt our owner we only found out about igames 2 weeks before this thing started. Team DAWGS has been around for damn near 5 years.

Second, your horrible. The only reason you beat us the first 2 times was because we have 500-900 pings.

No, sorry.  We may have gotten "rolled" but the point is still just, your team is assigned to a center in which a moderatior, in fact a coordinatior is in charge of.  Its an inside source that shouldnt exist.  And you had exceedingly high pings for 6 rounds out of both games, we kept count knowing you were going to pull that card.
