First steps in becoming a game center owner

    hi guys,

My name is Jelton and I live in south America.  My aim is to open a game center, and I would like to know who are apart of the Honorary membership club and what they  benefited when they joined . I am not clear about how the honorary membership will benefit me, since i am  living in Guyana,South America. Please give me instructions in signing up and what are the first steps of becoming a game center owner.

I read in the forums that people paid $150 to get into the private forum, is it $50 for first time registration and $100 monthly. I would really like more details on joining igames as it regard to my game center planning and implementation.

I am new and need guidance.

    Thanks a Million

    Jelton

    Hi Jelton,

As an international center, you will pay a one time membership set up fee of $50.  You will not be charged anything else monthly.  You will have access to the private forums, the private pages on igames.org including the special offers pages of our site, and the newsletters.

As emag noted, you can go to the membership sign up page for more details.

    Hope this helps.

    Lissa

    Hi,

You can upgrade at anytime.  Also, the only publisher license available at this time outside of the United States and Canada is the Microsoft license.  Once you have joined, and are within a couple of weeks of opening, you can go into your account and order the license.

If you have any other questions please let me know.

Folks, the URL that was posted last week on this site is very old. I have edited that post to reflect the correct URL. More info on becoming an iGames center can be found here - http://www.igames.org/community/forums/thread/182123.aspx.
