Market analasis (sp?) on gaming centers

Has anyone done a market analysis on gaming centers and projected growth. I have looked and all I can find is a hand full of companies wanting to do the research for me for thousands of dollars. And most of them don't know what they are talking about.

I am in a starving market, I know it will do very well. But my investors want hard numbers from other gaming centers in other areas.

Any assistance on this would be awesome.

There are several threads in the private forums that give numbers, I would check there.

From what I have seen. Yes it is. If for no other reason then the contacts for site licensing that are not available to the general public. Trust me I have looked.

Issue is, I'm in a catch 22. Need investment money to setup the account, but the information I need to get the investor is unavailable until I get the account setup.

Oh well, I'll get something figured out.

Generally speaking, if you cannot afford the fee to grant yourself a honorary membership to do some research, then you need to rethink your budget. The information contained here is worth it not only for those who are starting a GC, but you may in fact discover that maybe you shouldn't start a GC. Which would save you several 10s of thousands of $ and several years of your life.

An Honorary Membership gets you access to the private forums and is very affordable.

do you have a business plan?  Market Analysis is usually part of your business plan and most investors and bank loan officers ask to review a business plan before considering investing or loaning to you.  You can do the Market Analysis yourself mostly through internet resources like iGames.org forums.  You could also check in with the Small Business Bureau in your area or closest large city.  Another place you could get information would be the Realtor for the place you are looking at for your proposed site and also the area chamber of commerce.

You should truly consider joining iGames as an honorary member for now as the value well exceeds the small monthly fee.  We have been members almost 4 years and feel we get and give a lot in this gaming industry.
