These Rules of Conduct, part of our overall Terms of Service, describe various types of behavior which are not permitted in connection with use of the iGames services (the “Service”) available to you through the domain and sub-domains of www.igames.org (the “Site”) or otherwise. By accessing, posting information on, or otherwise using, the Service or the Site, you agree to the following:

You agree that you will not upload, post, or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content -- including text, communications, software, images, sounds, data, or other information that:

1. Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another’s privacy, tortious, contains profanity or explicit or graphic descriptions or accounts of sexual acts (including but not limited to sexual language of a violent or threatening nature directed at another individual or group of individuals), or otherwise violates iGames’ rules or policies;
2. Victimizes, harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability;
3. Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other proprietary right of any party;
4. Constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk e-mail (also known as “spamming”), chain letters, any other form of unauthorized solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling;
5. Contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any data or other information of any third party; or
6. Impersonates any person or entity, including any employee or representative of iGames.

Please understand, we encourage dissent and diversity of opinion, but iGames will not tolerate rudeness, personal attacks on members or staff, or behavior that is detrimental to the iGames community.

You also agree that you will not harvest or collect information about the users or members of the Service or the Site or use such information for the purpose of transmitting or facilitating transmission of unsolicited bulk electronic e-mail or communications.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any part of the Service.

You further agree that you will not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from a child under 13 years of age without appropriate prior verifiable parental consent.

iGames will immediately terminate any Membership which it believes, in its sole discretion, is transmitting or is otherwise connected with any spam or other unsolicited bulk email. To the extent actual damages for such spamming can be reasonably calculated, you agree to pay iGames’ actual damages. If actual damages for such spamming cannot be reasonably calculated, then you agree to pay iGames liquidated damages of $5 for each piece of spam or unsolicited bulk email transmitted from or otherwise connected with your Membership or account to a particular address.

iGames generally does not pre-screen, monitor, or edit the content posted by users of the Service or the Site. However, iGames and its agents have the right at their sole discretion to remove any content that iGames, in its judgment, believes does not comply with these Rules of Conduct or is otherwise harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate. iGames is not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such content.

Always use caution when giving out any personally identifying information about yourself or your children in the Service and the Site. iGames does not control or endorse any content, messages or information found in the Service which is provided by other parties. In no event shall iGames (including its officers, directors, employees, affiliates and agents) be liable for claims of any nature, whether direct or indirect, arising from or related to any content made available on or through the Service or the Site, including, but not limited to, errors or omissions in such content, and loss or damages incurred as a result of use of such content. Managers and hosts of the Service are not authorized iGames spokespersons. Their views do not necessarily reflect those of iGames and they do not have the authority to bind iGames.
