Week 5 Results:
Week 5 Results are in! This week brought another shake up in the top ranks. Team Gigabits got defeated by There is talk of Cak, Cygamz, and GCX. This dropped team Gigabits all the way down to 4th place. GCX took first place, Gamestation 2nd, and uKz 3rd.
As a reminder Teams 1-4 automatically make playoffs. Teams 5-12 enter the playoffs Qualifier. More info on that in a little bit.
Good luck and have fun everyone!

Week 4 Results:
Week 4 Results are in! This week brought another shake up in the top ranks. Team GameStation defeated Team Cygamz and Team Desert Snails propelling them all the way to 3rd Place. Team Gigabits won 3 matches against: GCX, Desert Snails, and There is talk of Cak. The three wins by Gigabits boosted them back into first place. Cygamz still commanding a decent amount of XP managed to just drop to second place. uKz taking a pummeling fell all the way to 12th
So we are back where we started! de_dust2, the most played tournament map in existence. Will Week 5 shake Gigabits out of 1st place or further secure them. Stay tuned!
Good luck and have fun everyone!

Boosting:
To clarify the rules -
Boosting up onto a ledge or other area by using a Ladder is allowed, and known as “Ladder Boosting,” so long as the player cannot clip through or see over walls.
Boosting up higher than jump height by using a teammate is not allowed, and known as “Super Boosting”.

Week 3 Results:
Standings are updated. This week brought a shake up in the top ranks. Team Cygamz managed to steal first place from Team Gigabits with an impressive 8-0 win/loss ratio. Cygamz managed to best the last seasons winner uKz (and number two in this ladder as of last week).
Team Gigabits also did well only playing two matches due to an unusually long match between Team Gigabits and Desert Snails (last seasons number 2 winner). Team Gigabits managed to best Desert Snails though sending them to fifth in the standings.
Next week is on de_inferno. Reminder that there is no planting in the fountain and if it does happen and causes a team not to be able to defuse there will be a 3 round penalty for doing so.
Good luck and have fun everyone!

Week 2 Results Cont.:
The Results are in! WOW, there was a lot of change this week!
Team Gigabits is now on top winning 4 matches this week. They knocked out Dinks team There is Talk of Cak (last weeks number one team) and then won out against planeteers from w00tz! as well as two other teams.
Can team Gigabits keep it up against teams like uKz (last seasons winner) and Desert Snails? Only time will tell
Week 3's map is de_train

Week 2 Results:
Week 2 finished with 34 matches!
Standings are being entered. They should be up in a day or so. There will be another news post at that time
On a side note I would like to remind centers and players to act in a professional sportsmanlike manner. If there is a dispute remain calm and talk to the admin in a rationale manner. If you have a dispute that requires elevation send an email to eventsadmin@igames.org with the story, why you think a dispute is necessary and proof (screenshots, demos, logs, etc).

Pre-Season Summary:
Pre-Season was great with over 20 matches played! While a few centers had a few issues due to a Valve update, but they were resolved quickly and game played continued.
Next week should have even more teams and matches will get going a lot quicker.
Heres to a great season! Remember to play hard but have fun as from this week on it counts!
